Desired Results Developmental Profile (2025)

The Desired Results Developmental Profile (2025) [DRDP (2025)]: An Early Childhood Developmental Continuum is a formative assessment instrument developed by the California Department of Education and the California Department of Social Services for young children and their families. The DRDP (2025) aligns with the new Infant and Toddler Learning and Development Foundations (ITLDF) and the Preschool/Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PTKLF). The assessment was developed with child development experts to align with current early childhood research and extends to all learners, including dual language learners and children with disabilities. Additionally, the domains of Social-Emotional Development and Approaches to Learning are now extended to third grade.
