Sonic Video
Video Background: Two boys are playing in the block area with magnet tiles. The boys are working together to create Sonic. The boy in the black shirt takes the lead and tells the other boy that they need to make it smaller. The boys destroy what they have already built and start over again. The boys take turns making Sonic again.
Building a House
Video Background: Two boys are playing together with very large interlocking blocks outside. The boys are working together to build a house. The boy in the green shirt takes the lead and tells the other boy what to do to build a house and where to start. The boys work together, sticking the blocks together and problem-solving how to build the house floor first.
Birthday Cake
Video Background: The girl in the white shirt is playing outside and building a birthday cake. She tells her teacher she is making a big cake and shares her space and some toys with her friend next to her. She uses different toys to build the cake. She also answers her teacher in Spanish and shares with her how old her friend will be and when her friend's birthday is.
Measuring
Video Background: The child is working in the science area. He uses the scale to see which side is heavier. He uses different materials on each side. The child shares his space with another boy who wants to be part of it too. The teacher asks him open-ended questions as he tries to figure out which materials are heavier than others.
Family Members
Video Background: During snack time, the boy interacts with his teacher as she asks him questions about his family members. The boy shares how many brothers, sisters, and pets he has at home. The boy engages in the conversation, asking the teacher some questions about her family.

Tricks
Video Background: During group time, the teacher asks, “Who is here today?” After the children acknowledge their presence, the teacher asks if they want to do a special trick. Children wait for their turn and cheer on their friends. The teacher asks them in English and Spanish, and the children reply in Spanish.
