Regional Desired Results System Training (Invitation Only)

CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATlON/EARLY LEARNING AND CARE DIVISION -- DESIRED RESULTS SYSTEM TRAINING

The California Department of Education, Early Learning and Care Division's (CDE/ELCD) Desired Results (DR) Regional Training will offer hybrid training for administrators. The hybrid training model includes one-day, in-person training in both September, October and April with online training throughout the year for completion. The in-person training sessions consist of an eight-hour day offered in three separate locations. The administrator training incorporates an overview and in-depth information about the Desired Results system; the implementat ion of the system at the classroom, program, and agency levels; reporting including analyzing self-evaluation data and using data for quality improvement; and additional support on specific components of the Desired Results system.

Participants also complete selected online modules found at \Wl w.caearlychildhoodonline.org (CECO). For experienced administrators, ELCD offers the opportunity to attend a full-day session in September and October, as well as webinars in the spring on the program self-evaluation. The online training session for experienced administrators includes methods to support implementation of the Desired Results system, updates, and new products and job aids. Registration is required.
