1. Video Background and Transcript

Stephen is a dual language student. He is four years old and is in a transitional kindergarten (TK) program. Part of the daily routine is for students to take turns leading in a game of “Riddle, riddle what am I?” during a center or at the end of the day. In this game, students lead one at a time, choose a card, look at the picture in the front and the printed name of the picture in the back, and give classmates three clues to help them guess the item in the image. This clip shows Stephen playing the game with his classmates at the end of the day, before dismissal time. Transcript

3. Measures Reflected by the Evidence

The teacher initially used this clip to document the student’s understanding and response to English literacy activities,
but a good piece of evidence can address multiple measures. It is important to read the descriptors for each developmental level before determining if evidence is related to the measure.

We are not assigning a developmental level but saying that this video clip could be evidence for the measures listed in this chart: Measures Reflected by the Evidence.
